Four Decades of Food Know-How

With over 40 years of combined experience in the food and beverage industry, we understand what it takes to deliver consistent quality and reliable service in demanding environments. Our background spans everything from high-volume restaurant operations to government contracting requirements, giving us unique insight into both authentic food preparation and the rigorous standards expected by military and government clients. We chose to focus on honey, olive oil, and olives because we know these Mediterranean staples can make a real difference in nutrition and flavor for the people who serve our country. Our motto "Eat well and Be well" reflects our belief that quality food is essential for those who dedicate their lives to public service.

Retirement Led to Our Greatest Adventure

In 2020, we packed our belongings and retired to Greece, keeping our Annapolis home as we started a new chapter in Sam's birthplace of Thessaloniki. Living comfortably on our social security and military disability benefits, we discovered three exceptional products that captured our attention: the pure honey from Greek forests, authentic extra virgin olive oil, and perfectly cured olives. What started as a simple appreciation for these natural treasures grew into a business idea by October 2021, when we formed our LLC to share these authentic Greek flavors with America.

Diana leads International Greek as a Navy veteran with business management experience from Anne Arundel Community College. She manages daily operations for our 51% female-owned, 100% service-disabled veteran business in Annapolis, Maryland. With over 10 years of restaurant management experience at major brands and four years living in Greece, Diana brings unique knowledge of both government contracting requirements and authentic Greek food traditions.

Sotirios (Sam) Dalakis

Vice President, Operations


Sam manages operational logistics and product transportation from Greece to the USA. With 20 years of food and beverage management experience, including co-ownership of the 300-seat Severn Inn restaurant near the Naval Academy, he brings extensive industry knowledge to International Greek. His Greek language skills and cultural connections ensure authentic relationships with our producers and guarantee product quality.
